Hi! We are Jerry and Kelly Lambert, “high school sweethearts”, business partners and lifelong residents of Crown Point!  We’ve always loved a great party, and with five grown children we’ve thrown a good many in the last 40 years!  As our family grew, it became very apparent we were gonna need more space to celebrate together; we assumed others were probably facing the same predicament.   Hence, the idea of “The Venue” was born!  Starting from scratch, and bringing all of our talents and know-how together to create this space and concept has become such a fun family project!   We are excited to now share it with you.

“The Venue” provides many different options to accommodate most all your event needs.  From numerous table options; to counter-space large enough for teaching a class or practicing a hobby; multiple large-screen TV monitors to set up for conference meetings or office presentations; as well as a Bluetooth sound system for providing just the right musical atmosphere or microphone hook-up (extra charge) if needed.  We have a nice- sized “certified” kitchen for food prep (sorry, no stove/oven- but you don’t really want to cook for all those people, anyway, do you??!), and multiple accessible restrooms for all your attendees.  We even have an experienced Event Coordinator on staff (extra charge) to help you polish your ideas and then bring them to life!  We are in close proximity to some of the best restaurants in Northwest Indiana, and they are just ready and waiting to cater your next event.  We keep a recommendation list to help you make the perfect food choices.

We are located 1 mile east of downtown Crown Point and in close proximity to much of the action around town. Remember Crown Point’s BMV in the old Wolohan Lumber building?  Well, boy has it changed!  We have transformed it into a classy and elegant 3200 sq. ft. open- concept room, ready and waiting to host your next large or small Gathering of friends, Meeting of co-workers, family Celebration or fun community Event.  We would love to hear your ideas for your next Gathering, and then help you transform those ideas into a fabulous final Event!
